Hello and welcome! I’m thrilled to have you here. This site is more than just a collection of pages, it’s a reflection of my professional and personal processes intertwined throughout the years. I am a dedicated public relations and communications specialist passionate about the power of effective and impactful communication.
My passion for children with exceptionalities began with my son. When he was 10, he suffered a traumatic brain injury that left him unable to walk, talk and move his fingers. He was misdiagnosed by many doctors and even a major hospital in North York. I advocated tirelessly to get him the help he needed and once he was transferred over to Sick Kids they worked day and night on him.
My son had lesions all over his brain stem and he was dying. Through swift intervention by Sick Kids, he miraculously made a recovery after treatment. It was a harrowing experience, one that permanently lives with me. He is now able to walk, talk and use his fingers after years of intensive hospital rehabilitation.
He suffers cognitive deficits but he is a fighter and working through those as well. I won’t and can’t ever forget what happened which drives me to advocate for those who can’t advocate for themselves.
Step into the story of my multifaceted life.
